Say you're preppy and you wear a floral blouse and a pink denim skirt and matching chinese slippers! Would fishingnet stockings ruin it and make it look victorian goth instead of just plain girly! I'm not prep i just asked this question because women find them elegent and i think they're punk like me and i'm not sure which style it falls under and please don't say 'eclectic' because it's so predictable it's annoying. I really want to look unique while looking glam and sweet.

First of all NEVER and I repeat NEVER wear a pink denim anything. Second chinese slippers are horrid unless your in chinatown and no you don't have to be anything to be wear fishnets.

I don't really wear things that define my outfits as a certain style, like lets say black nail polish, I don't wear it because I am goth (not saying I am), I wear it because it's cute. I just like to have my own style and most people would say my style is a mix of preppy, vintage, and runway. I'm not going to say don't worry about what people think of you, because come on, everyone at least once in their life thinks about what other people might think of them if they wear this shirt or if they wear their hair differently...etc. I know I do. So, if you like it and thinks it cute, go for it. Personally, I wouldn't wear fishnet stockings because I don't think they are very cute, but then again I have never tried them on. I would just leave your outfit the way it is, or to mix it up, wear a blue denim skirt with a vintage silver necklace! Very cute and very spring/vintage, especially with the chinese slippers. So if I were you and wanted to look glam and sweet, I would try pearl necklaces, different lengths and maybe pearly pink ones! very cute, oh and you can get them at forever 21. I hope this helped!

If you wear pastel colors like pink, blue or even white or natural they will not look Goth. Goths are mainly black red or fuchsia. They have many cute colors under fishnets at www.stockingstore.com in both pantyhose and thi highs.

Uhm, hun, you don't sound very "punk". Sorry but the exclamation points kinda gave you a really girly-preppy vibe... Anywho, does really it matter? You don't have to be punk or goth to wear them. It's not like it's illegal for everyone else to wear them.

fish nets are very sexy i wore them in the 60s and i wear them now they real go with any style you wunt to prasent
