If you bid on the item, you entered into a contract to pay the amount you bid. You are obligated to complete the transaction. If you do not, you will get negative feedback from the seller, and you could be banned from the site.

Yes. As the first answer said, your bid, once won, constitutes a contract.

I agree completely with what MOM said, plus will add that they could sue you to complete the contract you made with them (ie, pay up).
