I would be angry whether the waiter was gay or not. There is no excuse for a waiter to treat you differently from your partner. A waiter ignoring my needs, in my opinon, is a reason to make a complaint.

I'd be angry if the restaurant that I was eating at thought I wasn't important enough to deserve a straight waiter. And we WOULD find another place to eat.

you ever thought that maybe your man is better looking then you and no matter if the waiter is gay or not, he just isn't interested in you....
PS- Most gays have 'gaydar'...perhaps your man is actaully gay and the waiter is picking up on that
