Mexican Soccer team the best?

Mexico is the best football (soccer) team in North America. U.S. is close but still not quite there yet. Agree?

Mexico best? - No.
Right now, Mexico is playing pretty poorly, whereas the US is playing reasonably well (except for the ridiculous number of missed chances on goal). Other than very recently, Mexico generally has the stronger midfield and is stronger in attack. USA is much stronger defensively, but not far off Mexico in midfield and in attack.

Mexico needs to find a solid defense and a world class keeper if they want to be better than the USA. Marquez is world class, but who else? Who does Mexico have in goal that comes close to a Howard, Keller, Freidel, etc?

No Way Mexico is better than the US. Although the Mexicans have better overall players such as Pardo, Salcido and Borgetti they can't seem to play as a team losing alot of games they're not suppose to lose like to Honduras. US on the other hand have average players such as Dempsey, Donovan and Onyewu but they do play as a team. If they played 2 games one on Mexican soil and one on US soil it would be spilt. But if they played 1 game at a neutral ground US would most likely win. I guess we'll find out when one of those teams win the Gold Cup

No, considering how they have been playing lately and how the US has been playing lately, no. Sorry but no. Mexico is a good team and they have been struggling in the Gold Cup but they are capable of playing better than they have been. The US hasn't been struggling lately so I think that currently the US is better. Overall I think the two teams are pretty evenly matched but the US is improving more than Mexico in my opinion. I do like both teams actually but much prefer the US over Mexico since it's my country. GO USA!!

That is a ridiculous thing to say. Look at the record of the games between the U.S. and Mexico in the last few years. The U.S. DOMINATES Mexico. What has Mexico done lately? The U.S. won the last Gold Cup, beat Mexico at the World Cup in 2002, and won the region in qualifying to get to the World Cup where Mexico was only able to advance because they played in a weak weak group. Please...Oswald Sanchez sucks, Marquez is a crappy hack, Blanco is an idiot, Onyewu is Borgetti's daddy, and Hugo Sanchez is a whiny baby. Please, if you wanna regain your spot as the giant of concacaf then step up your game. Personally I don't see that happening. Mexico better than the U.S.? Go sell crazy somewhere else. I ain't buyin'.

When's the last time Mexico won the gold cup or won the concacaf qualifications for the world cup? For all the excuses, the US has consistently outplayed mexico in the recent past, except at azteca. But if the US gets past Panama and Canada, and Mexico makes it to the finals, we'll see who's the best team now. ESTADOS UNIDOS, ESTADOS UNIDOS, RA RA RA! :D

Based on how they have both played in the Gold Cup, I would have to disagree with you. Mexico is not playing well at all and the US has looked real good. We shall see who is better by how wins the tournament, and then again in Copa America.

it used to be Mexico but right now U.S. is in great form looking almost unbeatable and theyre ranked higher in the FIFA Ranks. I think mexico has better players but they dont seem to be clicking right now but when they do they will again be the best team in N. America.
