Conservative republicans.
Democrats are opposed to every tax reduction. The largest obstacle to gaining wealth is taxes. The single biggest issue affecting middle class families on a daily basis is taxes. The middle class taxpayer pays close to 50% of their income in taxes. Please consider the following: federal income tax, state income tax, state sales tax, property tax, gas tax, tolls, taxes on alcohol and cigarettes, utility taxes, automobile registration fees, county surtaxes. Democrats are not for the middle class and break down their support into groups. They get funds and count on votes from women by being pro-choice, minorities for supporting affirmative action, gays for supporting gay rights, unions for not supporting school vouchers, and environmentalists supporting things such as not drilling for oil in Alaska.

A little of both in each party (depending on which tax you are talking about and which sector of the population you are taxing), but both parties are spending too much money and increasing the power of the federal government.
That's why I am backing Congressman Ron Paul - hope the GOP has the sense to do so as well - and get the party back on track.

Overall it would be Republicans but you can find some taxes that a republican would support and a democrat would not. Each tax would have to be judged independently.

I belief in no taxes .
We no longer need any taxes at all .
Let companies who rely on a large labor force protects its employee's the vast majority of American people . They can work together to build roads and bridges to supply products and make getting to work convenient to employee's by taking care of the roads .
They can also defend against any invasion that might interfere in workers being able to show up . Its not like we have not already handed over most of our freedoms we just need to go that final step .
American companies abroad rely on our military to insure production is not interfered with already . They make huge profits in foreign lands off cheap labor and available resources easily exploited for maintaining dictators in power .
Lets admit once and for all that america is no longer a free nation because the playing field is fixed . Wages are what they are and the people who get the best paying jobs are often not the best qualified but the best connected .

Neither one, but republicans will lower them and spend spend spend on loan, while they leave the next guys having to raise taxes to pay pay pay.
Republicans claim they are for lower taxes and fiscal responsibility, but do you consider buying everything on credit fiscally responsible??
That is what republicans have become..the teenager who maxes out their credit cards, and lets their parents(the Democrats) take the responsibility, for paying them off.
Democrats are known by right-wingers as being tax-and-spend, but what they don't tell you is they are taxing and spending the money to pay the debts created by the republicans before them.

you do no longer pay attention plenty. He might repeal the bush tax cuts as a results of fact they weren't a tax decrease for the midsection type they have been a tax decrease for the remarkable 5%. that's what he will repeal. What he will bypass is a tax kit that taxes the wealthy and does not tax the undesirable

Republicans. A Republican government wants to keep taxes to a minimum, and they can because they're not interested in improving society or in creating a more functional society. They keep taxes low and focus on their relationship with big business in order to enrich themselves.
They fiddle while Rome burns.
And you get to keep your taxes.

Repubs. Although a strong US dollar is far more valuable than a tax cut. SOME Repubs are too blind and short sighted to see this simple fact. These are probably the neo-con wing of the party.
How are those tax cuts working out for those poverty stricken red states?
Funny how neo-cons would prefer to run up mountains of interest bearing debt in order to get some extra, valueless money in return. This, in turns, makes every US dollar worth about 70 cent which totally negates the so-called, tax cut and makes matters worse in the long run.
How this simple truth eludes the average neo-con one can only imagine.

It's not that simple.
Republicans want lower taxes for the rich, those who have most of the money.
Democrats want the rich to have to pay tax, and to not be the sole recipients of government services.
