i dont know how much to water it or where is a good place to keep it.

Your Pineapple plant is a bromeiliad. And being such you water it from the top. Pour water into the top of the plant and let it run down filling up where the leaves meet. Some of the water will make its way to the soil. You can use regular Miracle grow if you want. Follow the directions. Check the link for tips to get it to make a pineapple of your own.

Cut off pineapple top so that a slice of flesh is attached. Dry the top for two or three days. Set on top of sand in a pot of soil. Cover plant with plastic bag. Roots will generally develop in 8 weeks.
