hopefully it will never be completely normal or all of our unique appearances will be destroyed. we will all end up the same mud brown color. there is nothing wrong with being proud of you racial heritage. why would you want to destroy it?

America is not as racist as most countries. I find that the more diverse a country is the less racist it's people will be.
But I think the dislike come from parents. A lot of us are children of immigrants, so their culture and views are still retained in us. Also, if I marry and have kids with one of my Asian guy friends, he probably won't want our daughter dating a black guy. Maybe it will disappear in 2 generations.

More than our lifetime, unfortunately. My first husband was Italian (I'm German/Swedish) & my family treated that like a black/white marriage today. My daughter is a mix of us & her man is Italian, Spanish & French. My God-daughter is half black. My family is doing their part. I think the world will be a better place when everyone is a nice mocha color & tolerates (or better yet, celebrates) each other's traditions.

I don't think this will ever be accepted as normal. For the most part any way. Especially in the case you mention.

That's a good question. It's just skin color, it isn't anything important like breast size or what your a55 looks like. Those should be the only factors in deciding who you want to bowchickawuhwuh.

When people don't feel the need to be "better than" other people. No matter which way you look at it, it's discrimination.

It used to bother me some when I would see a beautiful white woman with a black guy but it doesn't anymore. I figure it's her choice to make. There wouldn't be any point to freedom if you didn't get to make your own choices.
