Do we need the company's permission to sell their brand shoes ?

Do we need permission or any documents from comapnies such as Nike, adidas, reebook etc to sell their brands? I plan on opening a store with branded shoes, just want to know how to go about doing it.

U have to buy a license in the State u live, to have the legal right to do it otherwise they can sue.
