China supplying weapons to Iran?

Question

what's the deal ? China is funding our war basically with all the money we've borrowed from them, yet at the same time I've read reports on China supposedly suppying anti-aircraft missles and other arms to Iran...Can anyone find a reason why they would do this? Maybe they want to gain control in the mid-east.

We are not at war with Iran. Therefore, in one aspect, your point is moot.

However, what we, the citizens know about this comes from our government.

Further, what is China's vested interest in gaining control of the middle east? Oil? Isn't oil based on a free market system, plus China has been buying up oil contracts all over the world.

I think China is smart enough not to try to control an area through propping up repressive regimes and military conquest, but rather to do it all economically.

First and foremost, we are not at war with Iran (at least not currently), so if China is supplying Iran with AA missiles, it would not be, currently a matter of funding or supplying both sides in a conflict. There is little hard evidence that the arms trade you mention is actually going on, but Iran certainly has the right, as a sovereign nation tpo defend itself and China has no specific reason not to sell defense technology to Iran. In the days when Iraq and Iran were at war, the U.S. sold arms to both sides of the conflict, including poison gas and biological weapons technology. Perhaps the U.S. was seeking control over the mid-east.

China wants to control everything. Look at them, they control their own people by not allowing them to have more than one child, and not allowing them to worship God if they want. It is horrible the kind of country that China is. I do not like it that they support Iran, I personally think we should blow up Iraq, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan. They all need to be gone and leave us alone!!! Those to me are the big war countries, if we were rid of them, we'd be better off!! China's a terrible country that's morally bankrupt. They are an atheist police state and the people are not allow to have a Bible. So they are very unethical, immoral, and evil. They support everything that is bad and they want Americans to die.

We should nuke China! The only solution to China is NUKES. We have to nuke them before they nuke us. Kill them all and let God sort them out! There are NOT enough Chinese lives in existence to be equal to 1 American's life!

It sounds logical. The victim of US bombing of its embassy in Belgrade is supplying air defense system to a potential victim of yet another US led war.
