Yes, by accident I went into a stall of the men's bathroom and did not realize my mistake until I heard someone else come in and use an urinal!
The funniest part of this, was that I was wearing red,
high heeled pumps at the time, so upon realizing my mistake, I pulled my feet up and out of eyesight until he left,
then tip toed out, in case anyone else was nearby to hear my heels clicking on the tile floor.
Luckily for me, no one caught my mistake,
so afterwards, I could laugh heartily. ;)

Never by accident, but if it's a single toilet bathroom with a locking door, I don't hesitate to use the guy's if the girl's is busy and there are no guys wanting to use their bathroom. Especially when there's like 10 women waiting for one bathroom and the other one isn't being used. Why should I stand there waiting like an idiot when there's a perfectly good bathroom (though often not as clean, unfortunately) right next door.

Yes at work a few months ago, I used the bathroom on another floor and the order of the bathrooms are switched around. This older lady saw me coming out of the man's bathroom and asked me what I was doing in there.

Yeah. Both accidentally and once, in a gas station and the right one was in use, I used the other one. They were one-at-a-time bathrooms, so what was the harm?
In fact, in places small enough to not need multiple stalls/urinals for men and women, why not just have one bathroom with a locking door? That would save small businesses a lot of money.

LOL I have! My husband and I were going on a trip and stopped at a gas station that was very busy. I had to use the bathroom so bad, that I went in the bathroom with my husband. The ladies was occupied. When we came out, this man was standing there and he was mad. When he seen me, he said "no wonder it took so long". I just laughed and kept walking. Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go.

Yes.
I was at a high school speech tournament, navigating through a strange school. I really had to use the bathroom. I looked down, saw white tiles and darted towards them, snagged a stall, did my business and looked for a place to wash my hands. I thought, "What funny looking sinks... oh dear!"
Fortunately, no one saw me. I left right away and found the ladies room where I washed my hands.

Yes, On purpose...the men's was empty and the women's had a line of about eight ( these were one person restrooms)
when I came out a man was waiting to get in,,,thought he could wait a couple of minutes better than I could wait 10 minutes. Just smiled at him and left.

Well I only walked into the wrong one. I had to go so bad and I was at a place I never been to. I walked into the men's room a women behind me stopped me. I was in a hurry and didn't pay attention.

I did when I was in the 10th grade of high school and I never felt so embarrassed . Unfortunately a couple of girls caught me and I did not know I was in there until I heard the sound of giggling in the background.

haha when i was six i did. i was at disneyland and i walked into the guys bathroom and when i saw a guy come in i told him that HE was in the wrong bathroom. he ran out and looked at the door and started laughing and when i left there was a whole crowd outside laughing at me. aaaaaaaahhhhh! i ran to my mom!
