Which one is better to go to, and why.

They are not comparable. Disneyland is two separate parks next to each other. Disney World is a huge area with 4 parks, a couple of water parks, many resorts, golf courses, waterways, and lakes. Disney World is a complete vacation where you can stay for a week. Disneyland is a couple of parks you just visit for a couple of days.

just depends on what your into. if you like disney on a smaller scale then disney land is for you but if you want bigger and better, then disney world is it. disney land could fit into disney world quite a few times just to give you an idea of how much bigger disney world is. the magic kingdom at disney world and disney land are about the same. if you want to go to more parks then i'd say def go to disney world. it has 4, plus 2 water parks and downtown disney. i think disney world seems more of like an actual world of it's own where as disney land is just kind of there!

I've never been to Disney Land, I've been to Disney World. But some friends of mine have been to both. They liked Disney World better. I don't remember their reasoning, though.

Disneyland has much more to offer than Disney world...if you like walking around and seeing different cultures..eating alot of different kinds of foods of many nations...go to Disney world...but if you want the best of three worlds...the original Disneyland with all its glory and they just opened up the submerine with Nemo and a new Pirates..and you can go down the Disney town and have an awesome dinner at the rainforest cafe...and then see the glory of California in the new theme park...you have to check out Disneyland...but I have a better idea...go to both and experience it all.....why settle for one....have fun...

There are advantages and disadvantages about both. I prefere Disney World, because there are more parks to choose from. Do I want to ride splashmountain, or travel to Animal Kingdom and ride Expedition Everest? The only problem is there are more people, and longer lines. Disney Land, there are only a few rides, but the lines aren't that long.

Disney World is the ultimate.
I know this since i just got back yesterday, after a week of being their. There are wonderful resorts with different themes, like Fort Wilderness which is a campground right by the water edge with cabins and stables with a petting zoo. The Contemperary resort is a resort that has a monorail going through the middle if you want to get to somewhere fast. The four parks, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios. Epcot has various 'countries' with indoor slow tour rides with some non country areas with some newer technology rides like a space simulator where you get to take the roll of an astronaut and push buttons and switches, feel weightless, have the g-force pull your cheeks back when you lift off and really feel like you are there going on the first mission to mars, its REAlly cool. The Magic Kingdom has a really wide selection of rides, Animal Kingom as Well, and MGM Studios is based on movies and has the Hollywood Tower of Terror which drops you 13 floors randomly with a little bit of riding around slowly just looking at scary stuff. Disney World has the worlds largest log flume drop in Splash Mountain with the Biare Rabbit theme. Well, This is only one bazillionth of everything there, you will have to explore it for yourself. Disney World! More options. More lands. More money...(wait that's a downside!)

Disney world. Disney Land may be the original, but Disney World has more variety, better restaurants, better rides and is overall more fun!

disney land is better i went to disney world and only saw two characters i didnt really enjoy it.at disney land you see lots more and have more fun its well worth it.
