Some people just got no sense. Actually it's pronounced "swaaiit teee". That could be the confusion.

Well, I find that lemon is always served with both sweet and plain tea here in the South of the USA. In some places, only sweet iced tea is the only tea served, which I hate because I want either plain tea or hot tea. Pre-sweetened tea is almost always icchy (technical term) to my taste.
