When I'm starring a question I star it because I want to go back to it to check out the other answers and whatever the best answer is.
I star it if it's interesting.
Whenever I notice one of my questions has been starred I feel honored that someone finds my question interesting enough to want to add it to their star list!

Well first off I see if the question is something I find interesting, then I would read it, and see how many times it was starred.

I'll give a star if I'm lucky enough to be chosen for best answer. I don't like to appear like I'm sucking up by giving star first. Just my preference.
