I've downloaded data with a .CUE extension (just like .doc for MSWord would be the extension). What programme will open .CUE data files?

Okay let me try to put this as simply as I can.

You cannot open .cue files directly. They are just files that tell CD burning software in what order to burn data.

Along with the .cue file there should be a .bin file. This contains the data that will actually be burned to the CD. You can't read this directly either.

Your best bet is to use Nero to create a CD from the .bin and .cue files and then run the software from the CD.

If Nero doesn't work try MagicISO from:
http://www.magiciso.com/

All you need to do is click "write CD" and select the .bin file (with a blank CD in your CD writer, of course).

This seems to be the only way to get your software to work. See the Source link for details.

.cue files are used for CD images. They indicate how the tracks of a CD image should be laid out. Most programs used to a burn a CD from an image should be able to use a .cue file, though I've never actually found .cue files to be necessary.
