I am 27 and up until a month ago, I had never been to a restaurant alone. Now I do it all of the time (I bring a book occasionally) and have found that I actually relish it! I can relax, not worry about making small conversation, and can go to which ever restaurant I choose - no need to compromise since it's all about me. I found that it's very relaxing and have noticed a lot of people do this, too.
You won't look like a loner. Go and enjoy yourself and relax while you eat your delicious breakfast!

Not at all . . . Because it has a counter, Denny's is among the most single-friendly of all restaurant chains. I eat at the counter often and don't feel like a loner at all . . . I talk with the other people at the counter, the waitress, etc.

It doesn't mean that one can't eat alone, just that it's a family
type restaurant. You can eat alone where ever you please. People go to a restaurant to eat, not to observe who comes
in and how many people are in the party. I am a semi- young female and I often eat alone as I am busy and have a need to
do so. Restaurants want customers, so just go to Denny's and
eat up.

No one is going to care that you're eating alone.
If you want to go eat at Denny's then go eat at Denny's and quit thinking that people are paying attention to the fact that you're solo. Sounds like you are worried about being alone.

If there is a counter you could sit there and maybe feel less conspicuous. Also strike up a conversation with the waiter or waitress, that will make you feel socially connected. Eating alone or going some place by yourself is better than staying home alone. Ignore what other people think of you and enjoy a breakfast skillet.

There's nothing wrong with eating alone. When I've gone, I barely notice if there's one person at a table. But when I do they usually have the paper or a book and look like they're either going to work or on lunch break or they're a tourist. No biggee.

No you will not, and nobody has any idea why you are there, you could be on a business trip, you could be there because you think someone is cute that works there, or you could be there just to eat, and as humans we all have to eat.

you would look like a loner, if anyone cared. i know the wait staff dont, and other customers arent likely to spend their meal judging you. but definately bring a book or something, cause its just boring otherwise.
