There aren't enough people guarding the border for your scenario to work. Also, although, I am angry enough to want to agree with your idea, I just can't. I find something wrong in doing such a thing. Murder just isn't my style, and should not be for anyone. There are other means to control the border, without personally murdering people. Our own government is failing the American People on this issue, by not following the very laws they indoctrinated, and by not listening to the People who vote for them. I think building a 100 ft. high electric fence, from one end of the border to the other, including a moat filled with water underneath it, is a good idea. If illegals don't die trying to get over it, their butts, are going to get the SHOCK of their lives. Electricity, and water are deadly, and don't mix. That ought to teach them where their home is!

YEAAAAAAAAAAAH !!! let's put a 2 mile wide demilitarized strip the length of the entire border like North Korea installed between North and South Korea. Don't forget to place millions of land mines there too. Heck, lets get Kim Jung IL to help us out with that ,too, while your at it.Let's also have the government regulate the media and do away with ALL outsiders too, forbid cell phones and only have government approved TV.
That said I am TOTALLY against Illegal immigration. And I think that it is the easy answer for Mexicans and Latin Americans to wanna shift the blame to us for not relaxing our laws when it is THEM that should be F-ing trying to improve their economy and stop the govt corruption so that their citizens would not NEED to leave.

A no-mans zone would last about two hours after the media shows someone getting killed in it.
Personally I find the whole anti-immigration movement driven by fear instead of reason. A reasonable person would say a no-mans zone is uncivilized. A person driven by fear will do anything.

I like the idea of the threat of force..it takes no effort at all to cross the border
I bet Mexicans hate Mexican jails..we should build a few modeled after their own..

it's a wonderful idea but of course the Dem's would fight it.
it would be a great way to secure the border as long as you let it be known what would happen to them if they tried to sneak across the border.
