my dad is going to buy me a laptop for my b-day and he gave me the choice of windows or apple so i dont know which one to choose so if any one knows which one is better and WHY ?? let me know plz

what are you going to use it for?
Apple (I'm told) is easier to use and better for graphic intensive programs
either will do just about anything you could ever want to do

Macs are pretty good - if you aren't paying for it yourself (they do tend to be more expensive than a PC with the same ability).
Software - less for Macs than PC's. Much of the software for Macs was created for Windows & then converted & is slower & lower quality. But some of the Mac software is way better than anything on a PC.
BUT - if you don't want a really space-age top of the line machine, and you don't plan on doing hardware upgrades yourself, you might enjoy the Mac more.

You should definitely get a computer with Windows. It's a lot better than Apple.

If you want to do more with your pc and cheap then you should go for Windows
If you a normal entry level pc users , you can also try mac, easy to use pc

If ur into design and video edition u should buy MAC
