I might have to go with Fargo. It's so well made! The story and the acting are excellent. The scene with the wood chipper could serve as a film school definition of 'dark comedy'!

Drowning Mona (for anyone who's ever wanted to kill the annoying bitchy neighbor), Serial Mom (just plain hystarical!), Shadow of the Vampire (great humor although it's subtle), Barton Fink (I LOVE John Goodman in it!), Fargo (the woodchipper... 'nuff said), Nurse Betty (I love Morgan Freeman and Chris Rock as hitmen), Drop Dead Gorgeous (I love how it's a mockumentary). There's more, but I can't think of them now.

might not be my favorite but it's good and often overlooked in the genre.
After Hours: Directed by Martin Scorscese. Very 80's very dark and funny. Great cast.

have a few Fargo was very enjoyable, really enjoy Dr Stragnelove, andthough some say it isn't a dark comedy like a clockwork oragne too

I'm a really big "dark comedy fan" I have a lot of favorites....so I will go with the most recent favorite....I really liked Eulogy....I thought it was hilarious.

I loved the movie Heathers it was popular when I was younger and it was so crazy and Christian Slater and Winnona Ryder were great. Thelma and Louise was also a great one along with the War of the Roses I mean who doesn't want to kill their partner at one point it was funny and sad.
