Do they also own more of the road which entitles them to drive like a$$3s? Or is it because the soccer-moms behind the wheel and on their cell phones don't feel they need to worry about who else is on the road?

What's the big deal about global warming, I like it warm. Temperature has risen 1 degree in the last decade. Big deal. If the bleeding heart environmentalists would shut up and we could build more refineries, no one would have to worry about gas prices and gas guzzlers.

These are usually the very people who deny that global warming is a problem - only because they don't want to have to give up their gas-guzzlers. It's easier to say, "Global warming isn't a problem" other than saying, "Global warming is a problem and I'm contributing to it."
This nation is in for a rude awakening as we will see - in the not-too-distant future - gas prices rise to more than $6.00 a gallon. Only then will the gas-guzzlers go away, and American motorists will start driving more fuel-efficient vehicles. We are a gluttonous, self-centered disposable society that makes up only 5% of the Earth's population and yet squanders almost 55% of the Earth's resources. One day soon that will come back to bite us in the butt, socially, politically and economically. -RKO- 06/16/07
