Need help with a Rose Bush?

I planted a rose bush in my front yard around 6-7 years ago. It has now grown about 5 feet tall, and has seperated into what looks like 2 bushes, in the shape of a V. Is there any way I can cut or seperate it somehow, and replant the other part into a different location without killing it? Thanks alot all.

This fall after the first frost you can cut it back to about 2ft, dig up the rose, remove the soil from the roots to see if it is a second plant. If there are two, they should separate easily. Sometimes roses will send out a sucker but it is typically spindly and not very attractive. However, this may be a rare occurrence in that the sucker has become a fully developed plant. You'll want to wait until the first frost so that your rose will go into hibernation which will keep it from suffering shock. Now is not a good time to mess with it. If the two sections separate easily then that's great for you and now you have two plants. However, if you have to break or saw through the trunk to separate them it is just one plant and should be returned to it's home.
