Question on Old Timers Day at Yankee Stadium??????

(1) do they do anything special with the Old Time Players?????????
(like to they play a small game or just say who the players are?)

(2) Who are some old yankees players that will be attending if you know any???

(3) Have you ever been to old timers day and was it good?????

Yes they announce the old timer players it is usually a few hours before the start of the "real" game. If the weather cooperates, then they will play a mock game which is always fun to see. It will be played July 7th this year, the NY Yankees are one of the last, if not the last team to pay tribute to former players in the manner.

Some of the players that have been there in the past and some likely to show up this year are: Yogi, Whitey, Justice, Cone, Strawberry, Murcer,Girardi (who was incidentially managing the Marlins at Yankee stadium last year while the Yankees were having old timers day- he did not appear for the Yankees that day), to name a few. I know that Scooter (Phil Rizzuto) was always a perpetual player, but due to poor health, he will probably not be there.... Get well soon Scooter!

Yea they introduce the "old timers" and they play a game. Yogi was there and i think David Cone will be there this year.
