I'm an aspiring model who worked with an agency in downtown Chicago. I paid 700 for some odd photographer to work on my portfolio. 4 years later I still havent recieved my portfolio. Everytime I try contacting my agent she always has some kind of excuse. And when I try to make a meeting with her she pushes the date back further until the day we cancel. Its very suspicious. Every lawyer I've came across cant return phone calls. And I'm getting seriously frustrated with this case. I want help now so that no other girl working with that company goes through the same. Any help?

File a civil lawsuit, you don't need a lawyer, if the woman receives a summons she has to appear in court. If you have enough evidence showing you paid this woman and did not get your photos then you should be ok. Contact the Better Business Bureau and let them know what happened to you.

Since this is only $700, most lawyers would charge too much. File a claim in small claims court. They have to appear or they lose.
