Email to me and I will put you in touch with a man who does this type of things. He will discuss your needs and give you a quotation. Or you can go to www.freelancers.com and similar freelancing sites and post your needs. People like him will quote.

There are four aspects you need to consider:

1. Domain name
2. Server Space
3. Designing and
4. Uploading your website to the server

Domain name (www.fineartist.com or www.fineartist.org or .info or a whole lot of others) and server space may be obtained from http://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/default.asp

To design your website I recommend that you consult a professional website designer as there are several other aspects to consider, such as Search Engine Optimisation and browser compatibility. Godaddy has such a service but I can't vouch for it. In general, interacting personally with a website designer works best.

The designer should also be able to upload the website to the server for you. I HIGHLY recommend this, even if it means giving him/her your username and password. You can change the password as soon as the site goes live. The reason for this is that links within your website must be relative and amateurs often don't know how to ensure that they are so. If you use a professional to design and upload your website you can be sure that every link will work. (As an aside, don't pay him the full amount until you have checked that all links and doodads on the site work).

If you do wish to create the website yourself go to any Search Engine and type website design in the search box. Some sites even allow you to create the pages online and then copy the source code and upload it to your server.

However, my advice still remains to let a professional handle all that, leaving you free to concentrate on your core strengths.
