I like them, but one of my friends said they are just a stupid new trend that people are falling into. I just wanted some more opinions.

They're totally cute. And your friend must not be very old tot hink they're a new trend. :-) Just make sure they fit you well ('cause plaids aren't flattering to all body types) and are not too, too loose fitting ... and wear a solid color top with them -- and sandals or flip flops!

K, plaid shorts are the hottest thing this summer. Pair your shorts up with a plain shirt ( that is the same colour as some the lines on the shorts) and skater shoes (preferably D.C) and you'll look totally hot!

Plaid shorts are trendy, but they can look classic paired withthe right shirt. Color combos also make a difference. Look in some of the nicer clothing stores for the best look, then duplicate that look at whatever store you normally shop.

very cute. and popular. i love plaid, i always have. everyone is a sucker for plaid, so i dont think it is a "stupid new trend" like uggs. plaid shorts will always be to me, whether or not in style.

They are so cute. Plus since the plaid has many different colors in it you have many options of shirt colors you can wear with it. I think they are funky. I am dying to get a pair.

It relies upon on the guy, I even have buddies which could pull off plaid shorts and apparently ok...yet i in my opinion won't be able to apparently damaging on me...i stumble on them sort of stupid yet hell im no longer a well-liked individual, i dont understand maximum issues that ppl call "style", i call it rubbish...consisting of ripped up denims with paint splashed on them...thats no longer ingenious thats somebody who got here up with the assumption in 2 seconds...
