I don't think emo really means anything, it's just a made up word that people use for things they don't like, seriously though Def Leppard is in no way emo (god, I hate using that word)

Nobody actually knows what emo is, that's the problem. Def Leppard is classic rock...well I guess that's the other problem too. Most people don't know what that is either.

Man, young kids nowadays piss me off when it comes to music. They don't even know what's good and what's not anymore. Def Leppard's best stuff, I would say, is Classic Rock at best, Hair Metal or Glam Rock at worst, and even that is hard to say. They are not Emo. To me, Emo is that sh*t like Good Charlotte, whiny music, for lack of a better term.
