Well, a mouse trap is out of the question if you don't want to hurt/kill the mouse. I suggest you gid rid of the source that's attracting the mouse. Vacuum/sweep/mop the floors, vacuum anywhere food crumbs might be, and clean out your food cabinets. Check your house around the bases of the wall and inside bottom cabinets to maybe find out how the mouse got it, and plug up the hole. I know there are have-a-heart traps (aka havahart traps) that can trap bigger animals, and I'm sure they make smaller ones for mice too. These work because you put food in the center, and when the mice goes in to get the food, the flaps will close shut, locking the mouse inside. You might check your local hardware store, or a place like Wal-Mart. Best wishes!

Go to a Farm Store. They have a wind-up trap that captures mice live and then you can release them away from the home. Most will capture 15 mice without rewinding.

you need to get a trap similar to this one...they are called Sherman live traps. You can put some oatmeal or peanut butter in it to catch the mouse than release it far from your home.

You may be able to find these someplace other than the internet.
