Because human intelligence follows a bell shaped curve despite the baloney that the Thomas Jefferson inserted into the Declaration of Independence about all men being created equal. And Einstein fell way way out into the far right tail of that curve. We normal humans fall somewhere towards the middle. As for crazy, I don't think so. If you are looking for crazy, look towards Washington.
