I am 40 years old and would like to go back to school to get my associates degree. I really enjoy the medical field, but I can't decide. I am thinking of a career as a MLT (Medical Lab Tech). I would like to make the right decision. Any ideas as the best pay for a 2 year degree in the medical field??

Well, it somewhat depends on where you live, but I would check out community colleges in your area. Most of these schools specialize in job related programs. I would think that MLT would fall into that category. Good luck. You might also want to speak with an MLT in a local hospital and see what they suggest.

This site says that you will likely need to get a BS degree to become an MLT. Good luck.

Talk to the counsellor at the college you plan to attend, they can give you the best options and also help you find any tutors, or other help you may need to be sucessful.
