When an individual develops the skill to read and write, they have concomitantly developed an ability to utilise logic and reason, comprehend information, critically analyse and question the information that they receive. Whether it is what they are reading, what they are being told or what they visually see in front of their eyes.

Many Indians are not capable of learning from their mistakes or of learning from history, due to rampant illiteracy, and thus there is present an inability of Indians to employ their powers of intellect. Had there been a high level of literacy in India, many indians would be able to fathom that the communist founding fathers are responsible for the majority of the national security problems India is facing and that the Congress party, along with its plague of leftists, secularists and communists have single handedly destroyed the country for over 50 years. In this respect, rampant illiteracy works in favour of the dirty communists in maintaining power.

Why single out the Congress? Are the BJP, Shiv Sena and all other parties saints? In any event, it does not appear that any political party is intentionally keeping people illiterate, that does not mean they are doing anything much to actively encourage education either. All political parties exploit illiterate vote banks for their own personal agendas. Look at the way illiterate lumpens blindly follow the violent diktats of the Shiv Sena, MNS, VHP, RSS, BJP, and undoubtedly every other party that actively fosters violent protests. At the end of the day, all political parties are equally bad. Some are worse than others. That is the only difference.

Until the other political parties were not given a chance to rule the country, so many persons were of the opinion that the congress party deliberately wants to keep the masses illiterate in order to stay in power, but as soon as other parties were put to rule the country, they acted in such a manner that people started to realise that there is no significant change in the manner and style of ruling and trying to keep themselves in the power of other parties too. Therefore, only congress can not be and should not be blamed for such ill objectives or selfishness, no party is behind anyone in this regard.

Youre question is interesting. I think that what has occured is to advance people who were disadvantaged at a point in history, they created affirmative action programs. The govt gave and stll gives preferences to minorities to help them build a better life for themselves. Its 2007 and it should be done away with , what i see is a lot of lazy, comfortable incompetent people in professional positions making $65,000 plus dollars a year supervising better educated and skilled inviduals who are not a minority and no one focuses that due to the large numbers of some of these minority groups that as a population they earn more money and live better.. and for the lesser percentage still on welfare ect is highlited in blighted areas which many of these minorities may own and not keep up for their tenants. I m white well educated and many times over although skilled educated and professional was over looked for minority statused people of whom I CORRECTED their errors and in fact educated them on just usual and proper use of the system, financial status and other things. Even in a professional job situation the manager just filed her nails and would call me into the office to explain the legalities of the claims of which she had no understanding.
Im not saying there arent incompetent lazy whites. .there are, but we dont get the boost by the US govt to stay in jobs we arent qualified for and got because we were labled disadvantaged. IF there is to be TRUE EQUALITITY, its time to focus on the overall success of affirmative action programs and see that ALL PEOPLE IN AMERICA needs advantages not just minorities. And there should be more focus and investigation into the black families living in $500,000 7 bedroom homes in the south suburbs of chicago, where there is little jobs or industry to promote that kind of income.
I do not dis anyone who is successful no matter what their color or orgin. I just say.. allow all people to have an equal opportunity to succeed. Whites do allow that in the last century and the early part of the 20th century blacks were oppressed and enslaved.. does that mean that blacks should be allowed to do that to whites?
How bout sharing the seeds of your successes? how bout monitoring and pursuing constructive input from yourselves to others of your race who would not be so offended if YOU pointed out their failings. .where as when Whites do it we are racist?
This is not just a personalized thing about one person or one group.. this is a necessity in our soceity to coexist and all have proper opportunities.
