On my resume, where I insert my educational background, should I just list completed education degrees or other schooling I've had, but where there has been no degree completed?

Hi there,

In my opinion, you should not list only the educational periods ended with a diploma or certificate, because any type of experience (educational) is useful. Here's how your resume area should be filled in:

Generally, I'd say completed degrees, but it depends somewhat what your education background is. If you have not completed college, but have 2 or 3 years worth of credits from a good university, I think I would list that. If you have an undergraduate degree and are ABD in a doctoral program, I would list that. If you took a course here and a course there, I would not mention that unless these courses directly applied to the job you are seeking. Good luck

I would list all the education you have received especially if it is applicable to the position you are applying for. By listing all of your educational experience and certifications you increase your marketability.
