You take chances with any utility that has total access to every port on your PC.

More than likely it WILL stuff up your PC.

Use something like VMWare or Parallels to create a Virtual Machine inside your real computer.

That way you can run LimeWire inside the virtual machine and it won't 'get out' into your real computer.

Just remember to virus scan any stuff you copy from inside the virtual machine.

not only will it stuff up your system, it will also get you prosecuted for piracy. it is illegal to download and upload copy right material, such as music. videos, movies, and software,

do a web search and find out what is going on and how ppl are being caught and find

limewire is spyware and adware free these days and doesn't take up alot of space.
