I am not from the US but I did read and watch American media news -- and boy! was that a big mistake. I started to assume that what was reported by the American media about other countries ( especially those not friendly to the US ) was the gospel truth. I have since stopped reading American press. I read lots of other press releases but also with a pinch of salt. How do we get to the truth? You never can unless you travel to various places and verify whats going on there.

Actually, no.
What you fail to understand is that all of those networks that you listed, they have people all over the world for the sole purpose of gathering news information. It's not like those networks are nowhere except within the boundaries of the United States and its territories.
You are also leaving out print sources. See that news on the front page of Yahoo!? Yeah, the vast majority of those stories are from PRINT media sources. AP, UPI, AFP, etc, etc.
You are leaving out a lot of things about the sources most Americans get their news from. "Oh, but Americans need different perspectives on different news events." So you are trying to tell me and everyone else that what you see on Fox will be reported and analyzed the exact same way on CNN or NBC? Hardly.

Jam til impact is correct. You have not listed all the media sources, only the TV sources which only employ Americans as journalists (but use other nationalities as cameramen) and therefore have an American viewpoint. The wire services -- Reuters, AP, AFP etc (UPI no longer exists) employ a mixture of people of different nationalities and therefore their reports are more accurate and less biased. Reuters is the most accurate of the "Wire Services" (not because it is British, but it has a policy of maintaining accuracy) while AP is fairly accurate and AFP is the least accurate. The individual journalist covering and writing the story also puts his/her bias into a story whether they wish to or not, as does the regional sub-editors, the national sub-editors then the paper or TV editors.
A former Australian TV news cameraman, Neil Davies (killed in Bangkok Thailand in 1986 during a coup), who worked for Visnews (British based international TV news syndication service which is now called 'Reuters TV') and NBC once stated that the Americans saw more accurate coverage of the war in Vietnam than the Australian public did.
NBC has a reciprocal agreement with Reuter TV to exchange footage. CBS and APTV has a similar agreement. It is the journalists and editors that put the "slant/bias" onto stories.

America is stupid. they all believe the government when
the gov said that the roswell incident didn't happen
although countless video and eyewitness testimonials
took place. if that wasn't bad enough the news fabricates
everything they report to make it look like the army is the
underdog and america is always in trouble. The Government
is SO corrupt your eye balls with shoot out of your skull.
According to a General's Wife she said that all personel
(per-sa-nel) who are high commanding ranks were forced,
while drunk, to perform in homosexual acts because they
needed something on them when they moved up a rank. if
they ever brought it up they would get dishonerbly discharged
and lose their Medals of honor. The Government and americas forces are Dirty and Shady all the way. It goes into
the population as well. This is the government is secretly
oppressed and our dictator Bush Lured Voted mainly because of god. all Facts
