Is this a joke? Why are you naming your nephew? And, personally I don't think you should name anyone after your dog Rocky.

ok thats kind of weird , Rocky is a cute nick name but naming him after a dead dog thats just not okay when people ask him o were you named after Rocky Balboa he will have to say no my aunts dead dog and wouldnt be weird going about you life knowing you were named after a dead dog

OK. Well personally I wouldn't name a kid that.
Having said that I once knew a Rocky. His middle name was 'Giggy'. So as long as you don't use a middle name as ridiculous as that it will be fine.
I don't no if this is a joke as a lot of people post joke names, but be careful as people ARE actually called Rocky. That's two people who've answered so far that know one.
But if not, you could have picked a better name. But noone really took the piss out of the one I knew, so it'll do if you like it.

How did you come to name your nephew? I'd think his parents have named him and hopefully it isn't Rocky after a dead animal.

Whether it's a dead dog - or anything else - you have to think "How will this name go down in the playground?!"
Unfortunately I don't think it's a great name. You could always give him a 'decent' name - but call him Rocky as his nickname.
