about 3 years ago i had treatment for a abnormal smear [stage 3] i can't remember if it was laser treatment or the loop.i am now 39 weeks pregnant and at my first antinatel appintment the midwife said my cervix might not dilate properly during labour but they would'nt know until i actually went into labour, has anybody had this happen to them or are you a health profesional who might be able to give any advice.serious answers only please.

I have a dear friend who got pregnant and had babies twice after having treatment for an abnormal smear. Try not to worry too much, as you already have enuf to worry about now at 39 weeks. You'll most likely do just fine. Congratulations, and good luck. Almost there!

A Class III Pap smear only indicates mild abnormality of cells and not cancer.

don't let them panic you tracy. i had the same treatment as you, and i've has 4 children since...with no problems. you'll be fine, your body knows exactly what its doing, and you'll be ok
