It depends on your dad...some fathers just want us to be happy and live life, but others want us to be someone really important, like a role model for the society.

As u can see I changed my answer! I'm sorry for what I wrote before...

NO!!! its mom's responsiblity to be a role model too. what u r saying is mom can be a whore or a hooker as long as dad is a good dad??? well that just isnt true...... mom and dad r a team, they need to be both commited to the child's life they should also be involved. so my answer is NO you need to be a role model too.

yes, think it is, as MOM should be too, but the real truths are, with trying to make a living, its so hard on the young people today. It all starts with value's, in each other-faith and the dreams of reaching the goals together as a team

Yes just as it is the mothers! You don't know how right you are on this one now that I am divorced I play both Mother and Father to my kids. Do you think he has the time to even see them? That is a big "No" and he has weekends off! He can't even explain that one. Won't go to AA won't go to anger management! So that is the excuse he uses not to see them. I plain flat out know that he does not care and is excusing himself out! But again I say that is his choice.

Yes. It seems like the worst behaved children I have come in contact with do not have a father in the home.

I think it's both of the parents resposibilities. They both decided to have a kid (maybe) which means they need to both set good examples.
