Which is a better platfrom the AMD Athlon or the Turion?? and why??

Well that is a somewhat strange comparison to make, since the two don't really compete with each other. The Athlons are desktop processors, the Turions are laptop processors. Each are optimized for their intended platforms, so really comparing them to each other is not a fair comparison.

obviously the amd turion 64 is better go with it!
