I have had both as pets, but prefer dogs, cats can be a laugh too.

If no-one is home all day, it is not fair to keep a dog, they also need training and walking. If you fit a cat flap, and have a litter tray, a cat looks after itself, but it won't chase a burglar.

dogs for sure. cats just do there own things while dogs are more mans best friend.

For me, cats are better. You can leave the house and not have to worry about it getting destroyed.

I have both, cats are more independent. If you are old or something I'd say cats.

i would say a dog because they are more loyal...i have two and they are very sweet and loyal... you can't really tell a cats perdonality well...DOGS!!!!
