Wearing any cap tight against the head 'constantly' will wear away the hair from the follicles and give the appearance of baldness where the hat rubs on the scalp; but it's not 'true' baldness because once the wear is removed, the hairs regrow.

Baldness is mainly hereditary, but can also be due to stress or unexplained factors. You can go bald if you restrict the follicles by pulling the hair back tightly in a bun etc (over time). Wearing a baseball cap wouldn't do that though.

I've answered seriously, even though you aren't being serious.

Worn a cap all my life which is 60 years and i have loads of hair.

Baldness is a genetic thing, if your grand Fathers on both sides were bald, then you may also be bald.

I don't think they actually make you go bald, but they may contribute to it. My cousin has been balding for years now and he always wears baseball caps. He always says that he's not sure if he wears the cap because he's bald or if he's bald because of the hats.

I think it doesn't help your hair to grow freely because it suffocates the follicles and blocks the pores on the scalp. Also hair falls out naturally and when its allowed to, it promotes more new growth, motorbike helmets have the same effect
