Why would anyone have fond memories of soemone who slept around behind her husbands back,finally dating a muslim?She humilated the Royal family and showed what type of person she was by spilling her guts on TV interviews.
All the queen of hearts nonsense makes me sick.Anyone can pretend to be interested in a noble cause.Spending 10 mins with a black kid with no feet doesnt a heroine make.Most of the kids blew themsleves up planting the landmines in the first place.
Big daddy did more for kids all his life yet no one remembers him.

Only as a result of watching the TV documentary. In responce to the Private responce (I am neither anti or pro Diana/royal family). Diana was carefully groomed by the royal family for her breeding qualities, Charles was in Love with Camilla when his youg bride was still a child and married her following pressure from his loving parents and "lovely" grandmother.
It was made clear to her from early on in the marriage that she was simply a means to producing handsome heirs. So while I don't condone her actions it is, for me at least, understandable that she lashed out.
As for being with a muslim, that in its self is no reason to codemn her, unless you are a racist whose judgements are based on the colour of a persons skin rather than what is in their heart.
I think the whole Diana fiasco was and is a mess. Her work for charities was invaluable, ask the people who's lives were touched by her. It is easy to sit here using symbols that represent the worst in human nature and criticise others, I for one think that is at the very least - unfair.

Not me Ive my own people to think about. Never met Diana and she never had an impact on my life but its time some folk got on with their lives. Her sons of course will be thinking of her and so will all the people who DID know her.
