It's value will only increase over time, but of the 23 players on the team..........Richards was one of 3 who never saw the ice.........so the value of the jersey will be significantly less than the jerseys of those who actually played

All the media attention about Canadians and this year's Olympics confuses things for other people. I mean, I don't play or watch Hockey normally, but I did watch Canada vs Russia, Slovakia, and the game today. It's just that it feels like this is where we belong. We were born and raised and taught that Hockey is our sport, even though it's lacrosse. Personally, I think the USeh (see what I did there? =P) team did rather well in today's game. The favourites were Canada, Russia, Sweden, and USA was expected to win 5th/6th, and silver is pretty good. However, it does suck to win Silver when you're so close to Gold. Especially when the USA dominated throughout the whole tournament. Let's just say, this win was for Olympic history? (Broke all-time record of Gold medals in Winter Games) Cheers for North America!

Keep the jersey, although Richards didn't see any ice time it is still a collector's item
