I live in a far away country no one has ever heard of, so we don't have Windex and such. Without suggesting product names, are there any household ways to get rid of lime on the bathroom mirror?

Yes there is and it may be in your pantry or food cupboard, use undiluted White Vinegar on the mirror allow to sit for a minute then wipe off, then rinse with warm water making sure not to allow any drips of moisture get behind the mirror this can etch mirrors if they get moisture behind them. Good Luck !
