i am not sure there is anything like true love. true love would be when we are true to ourselves, truly cherish ourselves in every situation and stand by every decision we make. so then we will honor everyone we love, including our siblings and their children, the plants we grow and the pets we keep.
if i think of true love as a person of the opposite gender- i might have to wait several lifetimes, coz each one is carrying an iota of that true love, but to get all of that together would mean creating a new/fresh human from pieces of all these.
i know from experience that love comes in many formats- as friends, parents, grandparents, cousins and so forth...all of them are true in their own way. so what is true love supposed to be- someone who is a mirror image of me or someone who is always in sync with whatever i say??
when you love yourself without obsession, and don't invest all your time or money in how you look, eat, drink alone...you will see love everywhere. a lot of it true also.

Well I met my Man when we were in school. I was 17. We are both now 24, married and so happy, I love him to pieces.
