This query comes up every few weeks in one form or another and the great majority indicate that they answer honestly. I always answer honestly, even when I feel that the questioner will not like my reply. Truth is truth and if it can't be shared in this forum it never will be. I do see a lot of answers selected as best that don't even answer the question but agree with the intimated opinion of the questioner. That bothers me but not enough to sway what I do. Maybe the truth seeps in anyhow.

I always answer honestly and say what I truly believe but do avoid answering some questions due to the fact I may not agree with them and have something very negative to say to them about their question.

It gives one a chance to 'vent'.
