I believe that there is a power supply requirement written on the 8600GT box, but I cannot take the box and read. I try to find the PSU requirement for 8600GT on the net, but I just can't seem to find it, I even try the Nvidia website. I know that the power supply requirement for 7600GT is 350watt, but how much is enough for the 8600GT?

The 7600GT is just a 36 watter (card itself only). 8600GT consumes a little over 40 watts. Their minimum power supply requirement could be similar.

BUT do not just rely on minimum recommendations. You could possibly run your power supply HOT at full load (esp. the +12V rail). Better get a higher rated power supply with strong +12V rail. >18 amps is good and dual +12V rail would be best. A higher rated power supply runs cooler, lasts longer and gives you elbow room for future upgrades.
