Fear, habits and social institutions that preserve the hegemony of said rich people. There are also examples like china where the material welfare is going upwards all over, so people don't feel like rebelling - watch when it starts leveling out, though.
Television is another great example.
It's kind of hard to give a general answer that's better than that and yet short enough to post here.

Why, how fair is this? I have a son that's rich and a sister that's a millionaire. They both worked very hard for their money, why should I revolt against them?
This is stinking thinking to say something like this. I would say, get off your duff and go out and work. People like you are the ones that bring down the American class for the way they think, that everyone owes them a living.
I've had some tell me this, I have money so I should share it with them. I worked seven days a week, twenty hours a day. I suffered through heart attacks and illnesses to make my money, now you say you think I should share it with you? think again pal.
The injustices are you not working and we have to pay the high taxes for your welfare. I've watched the lines at the Country and can't believe the work around the area, yet, the lines never cease. We've made it to easy for people like you then you say something like this?

Plus we have 2 and a half people that are termed
Economically inactive ( unemployed ) interesting this tallies with the amount of illegal and ''guest '' workers a like in Germany will not go home eg the Turks .
Nothing will be addressed until the Poles move into Middle class jobs which they are qualified to do but lack the English , then see how the middle class influence the government to curtail their influx
