Do you call immigration and have the kid hauled away, shut the door and ignore the person, or welcome them in and find someone in the community who can help the kid?

If the kid was confused and had to come to my door, I'd just call the cops. I don't know what else to do with a kid who's wandering around illegal or not.

I would notified the appropriate authority as at 12 the kid should be with Mum & Dad

I welcome them and take the story from his side,, if I feel that he must be picked up by the immigration I will call them and let them come.. if I felt that he is really a good boy and can use my help in the right way. I'll help him.

well none of the above, I would offer the kid a drink or let them use the bathroom, or maybe sleep over but then they would have to go.

if there was some fool-proof way to tell if he's illegal, I would invite him in, then call immigration. that way he'll still be there when they arrive.

I would call the authorities and have him shipped back to wherever he came from.
