i am presuming that there is a finish line but you dont have to cross it,or your whole body doesnt have to cross it, some people have mentioned wrestling and archary but there is no finish line in these sports so i will have to go with swimming , you touch the finish line and then swim to the side ofthe pool and get out,

Lots of sports as just said with no line to finish over. For ones that do - racetrack - you could say 3 of the relay team wouldnt cross the line in 4x100metres for example.

I suggest that it's swimming.
Those sports suggested in the first response to this surely do not have finishing lines.
