I have a standard noisy beeper than just gets louder and louder the longer I leave it, and it stops for a while then sounds again every 5 or so mins.
Best thing about using mobile phone for an alarm is you can place it at the other end of the bedroom so you have to get up out of bed to switch it off.

I turn my phone down during sleep.The answering machine will take any calls. My alarm at the moment is set to sound like a Tropical Bird.....but can sound like a Rooster, Fog Horn etc. Not into the normal Beep beep kind. I Like the unusual!

I do use my phone as an alarm but I have not figured how to choose the alarm ring tone yet. My ring tone for calls is an elephant trumpeting

I even have assorted telephones. One is my alarm clock telephone. I also have a decoy telephone. I also have a heavy telephone made up of steel that I connect it to a series so i can use it as a weapon. I also have a spare telephone. and that i've got a great telephone i actually use. lol

That's the whole purpose of my phones because I make it clear that I don't want anyone to ring me.
When they're phones, they sound like phones.
Brrr, brrr ........ brrr, brrr ....... brrr, brrr ....... etc.
When I use my mobile as an alarm clock it has a single shrill tone, the land line is the brrr, brrr thing.
I have no truc with all this ring tone stupidity.

Hey zie ur so vulgar yes i use default tones so they are super loud and irritating sometimes so irritating id just off the alarm and go back to sleep :P
