more cops,even though cops cost more than cameras. i would still like to see more real cops out there.

You see more cops. Cameras are usually used for traffic control and even if there is a camera you may not be able to see it.

I realize we as a society need protection, but too many cameras make me feel as if BIG BROTHER is watching; it gives me the creeps! Knowing that when I am shopping there is a camera following me; knowing if I go to any public place in the city, more than likely a camera is following me . . . . . . . . .more cops is more real than someone looking at me behind a screen.

There's nothing like trying to explain to a person why you were speeding or ran that red light. The Cop would listen to your story and maybe let you go.

Cameras...there is not enough cop manpower as it is. Let the people handle the real crime and cameras do the traffic enforcement.

More cops. You can't reason with a camera and cameras can't chase down drunk drivers.

If I had to pick, I'd go with more cameras - solely for fiscal reasons. Frankly, I think that cops spend too much time on traffic (revenue genrating activities) and not enough on preventing more serious crimes.

While it would be nice to have more cops patrolling, it would mean that taxes would have to be raused to support their salaries. More cameras make more sense. One officer can monitor dozens of cameras.

More cops. Ones that can catch the A-***** throwing beer bottles, cans and other stuff in my front yard.
