Going into today (June 16), Biggio has 2,988 hits. He should get 3,000 later this month or early July.

Remember when this guy was a catcher?

Of course. He has been an allstar player at 2 differant postions. So he knows what he has to do to prepare for the daily grind of playing. And on top of that he doesn't need that many more hits to get to 3000. As of today he needs about 12 hits to get 3000. So I would say he should get in by June 27-30

Following his burst of eight hits in four games, he might actually get there in June.

OTOH he may have just used up a lot of hitting karma and go into a slump... I'll go with June 29 though.
